Received my SP Holster for the 4"BBL S&W Model 617 a few days ago, but got busy.
 
Absolutely delighted.  I have carried an S&W 66 in a Tom Threeperson's rig for a number of years which secured it, but didn't protect it much.  Your Sourdough Pancake is rugged and protects my handgun securely without the strap across the hammer.
 
I was out at the range a few weeks back, and I don't remember which got more attention, my S&W Model 1917 or your holster.  Seems like everyone wanted to know where I got "my leather".  So, I passed out the few cards that you had included in the order and told the others where they could find your website.  Hope that you get some business out of this.  
 
Thanks again for the quality work.  It will probably outlive the both of us.

Looked on multiple sites for an iwb/owb holster for the new Ruger GP100 44 SPCL(!). Others list the 357 Mag, yours is the only one that notes the 44 Special (and yes, it IS). This is why i ordered. I just want to say that I asked for a simply rugged holster for Christmas. Thank goodness my wife got me the full flap pancake holster, oxblood, with the basket weave and border stamped. I got it for my 4 inch 686 so that I'd have a high-quality, durable holster to carry it around in the woods. My expectations were blown out of the water. This is a beautiful and rugged holster. The pictures on the website do not do these holsters justice-- they're much nicer in person. If it weren't for the fact that it's so obviously durable, I'd almost be afraid to use it so I could keep it mint. But like I said, I foresee this holster lasting a long, long time. I'm proud to have Rob Leahy's stamp. Thanks everyone from Simply Rugged and have a fantastic New Year!

Wow...absolutely amazing. For Christmas I unwrapped a Simply Rugged gun belt and a Sourdough Pancake holster, complete with basketweave, for my Ruger Redhawk Kodiak Backpacker. I have been wanting one for awhile and my wife listened, and they were under the tree for Christmas!!!! Incredible quality and the fit is AMAZING. From now on, my revolvers and 1911s will know no other gun leather unless it is Simply Rugged.

By the way I was watching Alaska: The Last Frontier yesterday and saw Atz Sr. utilizing your fine Chesty Puller with a Cuda attached. That was cool to see.I was surprised to see him toting a 1911 though. Figured they'd be more heavy sixgun folks in that neck of the country.

REFUNDS/RETURN POLICIES
We provide semi-custom, quality leather holsters and accessories with excellent fit and function. Therefore, we ONLY accept returns if the items are DEFECTIVE in materials or workmanship. Items must be in “NEW” condition. If you have applied oils, Snow Seal, etc. to products they will not be accepted for return. We ask that you return the item in its original packaging.

Returns are subject to our authorization and discretion. There will be a 15% SERVICE CHARGE assessed on all returned items that are not a manufacturing defect. Shipping costs of your purchase are non-refundable.
- Items ordered with stamping (basket weaving, fish scale, carving, etc.) are NOT returnable for exchange or refund.
- Please DO NOT return items in a PADDED ENVELOPE, they crush easily in transit and any damage will void guarantee.
-DO NOT send back an order with a "signature required."
-After 30 days, all sales are considered final.

We do not operate a “try-before-you-buy” policy. If you want to order an item with the option of returning it at some point, then we strongly urge you to purchase from a manufacture that offers such a policy.

Be prepared to wait for delivery of our “Made to Order” products. REPEATED phone calls or e-mails asking the status of an order only takes time away from production and slows the process down.
