Trail Safe: How to Avoid Danger in the Backcountry
I really appreciate Michael Bane’s approach in this book; Not so much focus on hardware, but more on the software, of avoiding and if that fails, dealing with danger in the back country. The hills and woods are not the same as when I grew up; we didn’t have to worry about stumbling into meth labs or Marijuana grows in the past. It is a concern now. Trail Safe contains the best information on personal safety, for people that won’t carry a firearm, available. We all have those folks in our lives, if you care about them; give a copy of this book.
