I got my 4th Simply Rugged holster yesterday. This is another masterpiece. You can tell from my records that I go a little more ornate every time. The S&W 327 is a bulky handgun for concealed carry but your holster (as always) makes it comfortable and it didn’t print wearing an old, thin t-shirt. The first thing I did was take the straps off because I couldn’t hide this inside the waistband, it just looks too good. I’m running out of handguns so your going to have to start working on AR and shotgun holsters. I think the Chesty is next. I don’t care how much money you spend, you can’t buy a better holster and unfortunately I know. Thanks again for a fantastic, affordable product.

Just a quick note to indicate how very happy I am with your holsters. I currently have two Cudas (with another on the way), four Sourdough Pancakes and one Silver Dollar rig. So far, that Silver Dollar has carried my pet Ruger .357 SP101 for about 300 miles worth of backpacking in the North Cascades of Washington State, and it remains as secure and robust as it was when new. The Cuda rigs are the best ever for semi auto pistols, in my opinion. Your holsters are just brilliant! Cheers,

Received my holsters and chest rig thursday. What a great piece of leather work. That chest rig is the most comfortable way to cay that I have ever tries. I have owned several shoulder rigs and at the end of the day my back is sore and they just never felt good. Now whether carrying my .44 or Judge it is right where I can easily access it and I hardly know I’m wearing a holster. I am going walleye fishing on the Maumee River tomorrow and will be wearing the rig with my 44 Tracker. I will post a picture of this on the DeerSpace web site with a review of how it held-up. I received my holster and belt safe and sound. Your web site pictures are good, but they are not the same as holding the leather in your hands. My Super Blackhawk is stainless with wood grips so the dark holster is a perfect match. The fit is also perfect. I could not be happier. Thank you.
Just receive my SR Sourdough Pancake for my 6 inch SW 586. Fit is perfect, look is great. Feels so natural in cross draw I think that is how I will wear it most of the time. This is my second Simply Rugged holster; I also have Silver Dollar Pancake for my Bearcat. These holsters are so simple (no need for retainer strap, thumb break, etc.) so rugged (very heavy duty) and so reasonably priced I cannot recomment them highly enough. Thanks for the great product and service.

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for the Silver Dollar Holster for my J frame. I’ve been wearing this holster 12 hours a day,every day since I recieved it. The revolver sits deep and securely in the holster with no need for a strap. This holster design holds the revolver very close to the body for great concealability and is the most comfortable belt rig I’ve worn. I believe this ruggedly built little holster will last a life time with normal care. I Could not be more pleased.

“Received my Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake Holster today and just thought I would share my thoughts…
First off, I am in awe with the beauty and craftsmanship; this is the first Leather Holster for me.
The custom fit is awesome and I can actually conceal the revolver easier with this holster than my shoulder rig…the holster/revolver rides very snug to my body.
So far, it feels real comfortable and I really like that there is no movement too, like with the flopping forward of the revolver, that I experienced with my shoulder set-up.
I prefer cross-draw in the straight-up neutral position slots, as I am riding atv, sitting, walking and find this to work well for drawing the revolver in all positions. With a jacket on, I can also have the zipper down enough, so there is no restriction with clothing.
Also, with this set-up, I do not find it to be uncomfortable sitting in a chair/vehicle, which is one of the things I worried about, given the 6″ barrel length.
Anyway, “for me”, I couldn’t be happier with this Holster and it was made/delivered to me in a 2 week time frame.

I just received my Sourdough pancake in the mail today. I am impressed. It came faster than I imagined and is nicer than I imagined.
I also recently received a holster from (Another Maker) that I ordered for a GP100. It’s apparent to me that they used an L frame for the mold (It says L on the back) and it doesn’t fit quite right. They said 4-6 weeks and it took 7. Yours took about a month and fits perfectly, like a glove and is noticeably more “rugged.” Well done.

Thanks for giving me the inside the waistband straps and the versatile pouch for the ammo. They will become handy and thanks for recommending the man Massod Ayob for further training in Florida. I feel secure wearing the holster, it does not seem to move when I walk and it makes me feel secure. Just got the ‘Cuda for my 1911 Government Model with the 1913 light rail.
Once again, you did it. Nailed it first try.
All I did was send a picture of the gun with my order and the thing came
fitting like a glove. It’s draws in a snap, re-holsters just as easy. The
bulky rail I have on the gun makes no difference- the holster just works.
The mag pouch is really a sweet little accessory as well. Looks great and
works just as well. I’m ordering more of these.
All the tactical shooters use kydex, etc. and are not really into leather,
“it aint tactical”. Can’t wait to show ‘em this lil beauty.
I’m only 5’8″ and the big 1911 hides out well under just a t-shirt, it’s
out in a snap and goes right back in as quick, one handed, without looking.

The sweat/safety gaurd is an excellent touch none of the others have,
unless you want a thumb-break, and I sure don’t.
I don’t need to wear and undergarment if I choose not too, either. I’ll
stay cooler, sweat less and save on sleeveles tactical under garments so
that’s a plus again.
Great leather makes all the difference. Quite, simple and functional.

I just want to let you know how incredibly pleased I am with my holster; it’s much better than I expected or hoped for. I own perhaps a couple dozen holsters for a variety of guns, ranging from very cheap to very expensive, and my Simply Rugged holster is now, by far, my favorite.
I had decided that my full-sized .357 was too heavy and too much of a nuisance to use as a bush gun when out working with a pick & shovel or machete & chainsaw (and of course my .44 Mag was entirely out of the picture). I figured that a Charter Arms Bulldog would be a good ultra-light substitute. So next I needed a holster to not only carry the gun, but to seriously protect it from some very harsh terrain and dense acres of nasty, thorny undergrowth. I also had to be able to move the holster to where-ever it wouldn’t be in my way for whatever it was I was working on at the time. And your Loaded Pancake is absolutely perfect for my needs. I want to emphasize that… ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!
The ONLY downside is that the holster is never again going to be as pretty as it was when it first arrived. Years of rough use are certainly going to take their toll on its appearance, that’s for sure. (They’ve definitely taken a toll on MY appearance) But I can’t imagine that all those years of use and abuse will ever actually wear my holster out! (Very VERY much unlike me!) It’s a masterpiece of pure toughness that’s obviously just going to last! That’s why Simply Rugged is such an excellent name. As time goes by I expect I’ll be ordering more holsters from you for the rest of my handguns.

Just got back from the post office and there was the box. I opened it in the parking lot and was instantly in love with the fine leather. I have to admit the knife sheath threw me for a second, but after trying it out….great design.
The pocket holster works flawlessly.
I am torn as to which sliver dollar to use (I shoot with either hand). The plain is extremely beautiful and the basketwoven one looks like artwork….guess I’ll have fun breaking both in.
I will definitely be buying more leather goods in the year to come. This is truly some of the best quality work I have seen in nearly a half century of using knife and gun leather.

I just want to let you know how incredibly pleased I am with my holster; it’s much better than I expected or hoped for. I own perhaps a couple dozen holsters for a variety of guns, ranging from very cheap to very expensive, and my Simply Rugged holster is now, by far, my favorite.
I had decided that my full-sized .357 was too heavy and too much of a nuisance to use as a bush gun when out working with a pick & shovel or machete & chainsaw (and of course my .44 Mag was entirely out of the picture). I figured that a Charter Arms Bulldog would be a good ultra-light substitute. So next I needed a holster to not only carry the gun, but to seriously protect it from some very harsh terrain and dense acres of nasty, thorny undergrowth. I also had to be able to move the holster to where-ever it wouldn’t be in my way for whatever it was I was working on at the time. And your Loaded Pancake is absolutely perfect for my needs. I want to emphasize that… ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!
The ONLY downside is that the holster is never again going to be as pretty as it was when it first arrived. Years of rough use are certainly going to take their toll on its appearance, that’s for sure. (They’ve definitely taken a toll on MY appearance) But I can’t imagine that all those years of use and abuse will ever actually wear my holster out! (Very VERY much unlike me!) It’s a masterpiece of pure toughness that’s obviously just going to last! That’s why Simply Rugged is such an excellent name. As time goes by I expect I’ll be ordering more holsters from you for the rest of my handguns.

Just got back from the post office and there was the box. I opened it in the parking lot and was instantly in love with the fine leather. I have to admit the knife sheath threw me for a second, but after trying it out….great design.
The pocket holster works flawlessly.
I am torn as to which sliver dollar to use (I shoot with either hand). The plain is extremely beautiful and the basketwoven one looks like artwork….guess I’ll have fun breaking both in.
I will definitely be buying more leather goods in the year to come. This is truly some of the best quality work I have seen in nearly a half century of using knife and gun leather.
I have already e-mailed a lot of folks and told them to look to you for their holsters.

Received my holster today, MUCH faster than I expected, I really appreciate the bonus inside out straps you included, thank you very much! I have searched high and low for almost a year for a good quality holster for my 4″ Redhawk, I’ve read blogs, forums and asked questions countless places. Thanks for the holster and chesty puller harness. It is very well made and easy to wear all day. It worked perfectly for me during my hunting season. Now if I was a better shot I would have gotten the deer but that is another story!! I had read other reviews by satisfied customers online and decided to give your system a try. I am really glad I did and have been telling everyone in the market for a new holster to try yours. I am sure I will order another as I plan on a new concealed carry gun in 2010 and will need a good holster for it. Best wishes for a healthy and prosperous New Year to you folks!
